Because of internet issues, I didn't get a chance to post pictures of my favorite spot that we visited in China.
It was a beautiful park, near the hotel where we were staying in Gaungzhou.
We visited the park on the warmest day of our stay. It was such a relaxing and beautiful environment.
This is probably my favorite photo of our whole trip. Notice that sweet little hand in mine. Oh, how I love this boy!
It as a little bit chillier that day, but we had promised the kids a boat ride. They didn't mind the cold. They thought that it was great!
Grace got to ride with Carly and co.
Isn't our God amazing, to have created such beauty?!

I love that family pic too, with his little hand in yours... sweet moment... Thanks for sharing...
Ok Sara, My 8 year old boy wanted to look at your blog before bedtime. Don't ask! He remembered the video that you had posted of Kai-Kai and his 2 friends a while back and wanted to watch it. He was happy to hear that Kai-Kai is home! He has so many questions for you.
1. Why didn't you take all of the kids to China.
2. Didn't Lilly and Grace have school
3. Does Kai Kai speak english?
I answered the questions on your behalf, but wanted to comment here so Kai Kai knows (when he reads this later) that people so far away and kids too, are thinking of him and his family.
BTW he remarked looking at the photo of Grace in her red dress that she is "so cute"! I wonder if his interest in the blog is really because of Grace... ha ha ha. LOL.
Congratulations!!!! I was so excited to learn that Kai Kai's forever family had him in their arms. I just *love* his smile!
This is the park I've wanted to see all 3 times in China, but have been taken to 3 different parks instead. What is the name of this one? I would love to visit it when we're there this year!
Thanks!!!
That is my favorite photo so far, too! The tiny hand in yours . . . *sigh*
