wonderful jiejie

Hooray! This is the first time that I have been able to get our VPN to work in China. So, in the midst of watching three of my children, Meredith has been the one who has updated my blog while we've been gone! Thank you so much, my precious friend.
We continue to be amazingly blessed by our new son. He is really quite incredible...sweet, fun-loving, joyful and kind. Having Lily here to help has also been a blessing. Kaikai loves his jiejie (big sister) and the feeling is mutual.
I love watching the two of them together. They are a perfect combination. Lily is her regular affectionate, bold little self, and Kaikai really seems to enjoy that boldness and is happy to join in her silliness. They love to tease each other and also love to snuggle up together and hold hands. They have such a good time together!
I'm so proud of my Lily-girl. She jumps right into new situations with gusto and determination. She loves traveling and loves her new didi (little brother).
Thanks, Lily, for being such a wonderful jiejie!

Love your, "Mr. Irresistible" --and his bold, smiling jiejie! Kaikai is absolutely flourishing in the love of his family! Such sweetness to see!

I've had a full nest, and haven't taken the time to comment, but have gotten on long enough to see Kaikai's love story unfold! Thank you Jesus, and thank you Sarah (and Mer) for making the time to update!

Blessings as you continue to get to know one another!

Love from Texas,

These pictures just melt my heart! Undoubtedly, Kaikai was meant to be in your family! What an amazing story God has written to get him there, with so many twists and turns!

I am finally getting caught up on your adoption journey! Kaikai is adorable and looks like he is adjusting well! I totally understand your feelings of "what did we do?" I went through a period of post adoption blues while in Guangzhou. I loved her before I met her and I knew that God had called us on this journey but I had a time of panic and thoughts of can we really do this. I realized that no I can't but with God I can! Are you enjoying the China hotel? We stayed there this time too. I did miss staying on the island. Can't wait to read more updates and see more pictures!
