was a spiritual experience for me
here was this precious child
the one whom I had had dreams about
(before I even knew her name)
the child who first really drew me to SCH
smiling her beautiful smile
what that all means...
I don't know
but for now
I'm just sitting here...
contemplating
the wonder of Rachel

Yay! More pictures! What a precious child!
On a side note, one of the girls in my class this year (named Rachel!) was adopted from India. She is a little person.
Sarah,
I just read your post about Rachel, and then prayed a prayer that the Lord would reveal His wonder for Rachel. He prompted me to turn my little daily calender here on my desk to today's date (it was behind a few days) and this is what it says . . .
"Where there is love there is a smile
To make all things
seem more worthwhile . . .
Oh, blest are they
who walk in love . . .
They also walk with God above."
-- Helen Steiner Rice
SInce today is almost over, I flipped the calender again to tomorrow's date, and this is what I read . . .
"A smile costs nothing
but gives much.
It takes but a moment,
but the memory of it
sometimes lasts forever."
How interesting that both days mentioned the power of a smile! Rachel does indeed have a beautiful smile . . . thinking of you, and of Rachel, as you contemplate her wonder.
With love,
Tina
What a beautiful little girl and such a cheerful and delightful smile!
Ah, Healer. You're good.
Last night I mentioned you & she lit up. You were a blessing to her and she loves you, too.
Wow! I'm thinking God is smiling at you for seeing what He sees when you look at that little girl.
