There was once a little girl...

Friday, December 17, 2010

There was once a little girl,
who longed for paper.

This little girl had a very special talent,
given to her by God.

And what was that talent?

...to remember lines,
and shapes
and
colors...

and to put them down on paper.

The problem was,
there was never enough paper.

Until one day,
God answered the prayers
of a mama's heart,
and He brought that little girl
into a new home,
where there was lots of paper.

Admittedly,
there wasn't as much paper in the new home, as the little girl would have liked.
But, soon the mama and the daddy learned to buy
lots
and lots
and lots
of paper,
so the little girl could use her special talent.

Five-and-a-half years down the road,
and thousands of pieces of paper later,
that little girl young lady still loves to draw.

Here are some of Yana's most recent creations:

She is gifted!!! How old is she? I too am an artist and began drawing as a little girl..... could not stop.... so I clearly know talent when I see it!! She has the gift of observing very accurately and that is what an artist is! A true gift from God! I wonder what He has in store for her in the future?

Blessings, Naomi
