Yep. We pretty much feel like we're living at the orthodontist's office lately :)
After three years of braces, this guy is getting a temporary reprieve (woohoo!), He still has had to go in for retainers and regular orthodontic check-ups, but he's enjoying eating some foods that he's had to go without for a long time, AND his teeth look fabulous!
This young man has just two months left (hooray!!!). Can't wait to see those pearly whites!
Grace and Lily got braces on last week. They did a great job, but both of the girls were in a little bit of pain afterwards. No wonder that they hurt, because I can already see Grace's teeth moving into place...amazing!
I'm so incredibly grateful for our orthodontist. He does all orthodontic work for kids with cleft lip/palate pro bono, which means that Jadon and Grace's braces have been absolutely free!
So, even when I do have four different orthodontic appointments in seven days, I definitely can't complain. We've still got many years ahead of us in braces, so I may as well get used to this second home away from home. :)
(By the way, Yana has super-straight teeth and doesn't need braces...one more thing to be thankful for!!!)

Oh, I know this is in our near future! How awesome to have an orthodontist who does pro-bono work for certain special, lovely patients!

Wow! We need to go to your orthodontist!! That is wonderful that he does that!!
Sarah has lovely straight teeth too... And she's the only one that wants braces! Sorry honey!
Wow, you are busy at the ortho! We are having a small reprieve until our third boy needs braces! :)
What an amazing orthodontist!!! You are certainly going to know him well!!! Beautiful smiles...every last one of them!!
Oh, they look so cute in their braces. :) Since you are going there so much, maybe you could just add my kids in the rotation, too.
I remember the years of braces for Hannah and Ethan. They overlapped but because Hannah and Ethan went to different schools in different suburbs, I never set up appts. on the same day. And I know that years of braces are ahead for Josh. It will likely be an early set, with a break in between, and then a later set. I guess, thank goodness for orthodontics . . . but it is all a bit of a pain, for both the kids and the parents . . . although the pain manifests differently.
Jadon looks fantastic!
Wow, what a blessing! I'm glad I have only one at a time in braces.
We begin the ortho path next week...our first consult with the older three. I never had braces myself nor anyone in my family so this will be a new ball of wax for us. (Kip had them so perhaps we could put the blame on him?...) So...soon it will be our home away from home too. So grateful to have ortho benefits now!! What a blessing the job los and then a new job. So thankful for your pro bono work from your orth.
I wish we had your orthodontist!!! What a blessing!!!
