You build a temporary shelter, of course!
David had to cut down some branches from the tree in our backyard, because there is going to be an incredible treehouse being built very soon. The branches were in the way of the plans.
This is our family's story and how it intersects with THE STORY of Jesus. We love God and are learning to live out that love with one another through our very ordinary lives here in eastern Kansas. Come join us!

When I was little one of my dreams was to have a treehouse. (We moved around a lot because my dad was in the military.) Your tree looks perfect for a great treehouse! :)
WOW! That is going to be some treehouse! As a mommy, I'm kind of fond of the 'on the ground' version though. :)
Can't wait to see the completed treehouse! Karl built one in our backyard--not really up IN a tree but nestled up around some trees. I love the temporary one though! No climbing to get into that! :)
Looking good! The greatest part for us is the 30+ bags of leaves we will NOT have to rake now :)
How fun - our children are begging us to build a tree house for them.
Where did you find the plans to build it?
Blessings and love!
